Start where you are.
Move up when the business outgrows it.

Most growing businesses don't need a finance director on day one. They need to stop guessing. Every level below gives you numbers you can act on. The difference is how much of the thinking we do with you.

The questions people actually ask

Worth answering here rather than three emails into a conversation.

Isn't this more than my accountant charges?

Yes. Your accountant files what already happened. We work on what happens next: what the numbers mean, where margin is leaking, and what to do about it before the quarter closes. Different job, different price.

We already have an accountant. Do we have to move?

No. We sit alongside your existing accountant and work from the same records. Plenty of clients keep the relationship they have and add the thinking on top.

What if we pick the wrong level?

You can move up or down as the business changes. If you start on Clarity and it becomes clear you need the function run, we say so rather than letting you pay for reports you cannot act on.

How much of our time does this take?

Setup takes a few hours of your finance or admin team's time in the first fortnight. After that it is one conversation a quarter at Clarity, and a working rhythm at Growth and above.

Our numbers are a mess. Is that a problem?

It is the normal starting point. We tell you what needs fixing before it can be relied on, and whether that is a one-off tidy-up or something structural.

How quickly do we see anything useful?

Your first full reporting cycle is where the value shows up. Before that you get an honest read on what your current numbers can and cannot tell you.

What happens next

The first 90 days

Whichever level you start at, the beginning looks the same. No long onboarding project, no discovery phase you pay for twice.

01

Strategy call

We look at where the business is now, what the numbers are being used for, and which level fits. If none of them do, we say that.

02

Access and setup

We connect to the systems the business already runs on and get your numbers into one place we both trust.

03

First reporting cycle

Your first review lands: what moved, what it means, and the two or three things worth acting on before next month.

04

Ninety day review

We look back at what changed, agree the rhythm from here, and confirm you are at the right level.

Find out what your numbers are actually telling you

The Finance Review takes a fortnight and costs £499, credited against your first month if you decide to carry on. If you would rather just talk, the call is free.

Not sure which level you need?

Most people are not, until someone looks at the numbers with them. One call is usually enough to tell.
